I'm not a fan of anime adaptations from manga but I do have my moments, and NANA was one of them. I became an Ai Yazawa fan after reading Paradise Kiss but then NANA came and literally changed my life!! I absolutely loved the anime and the soundtrack was just amazing!! I mean Anna Tsuchiya?? I have a girl crush on her!! she's such an amazing girl and I've been a fan ever since I saw her in Kamikaze Girls :P
Also, Olivia Lufkin as Reira's singing voice? That was great too, "Wish" turned out to be one of the most intense songs I've ever listened to.
You have to watch the anime, you'll get hooked and if you don't flinch at the soundtrack, then you're not human!!

I haven't watched Nana 2 yet, but after watching the first one and liking the manga, I am going to watch it anytime soon. On my way from Europe to Japan, I watched a great new Japanese movie in the airplane: boku no kanajou cyborg (alt. title: cyborg she). I loved the movie. It really moved me. It was funny, dramatic, deep, and the actors did a tremendous job. A must see!
